You�fve gotta love a well-made flick. This one certainly meets the goals it set for itselfincluding the sexthe humorthe sexthe costumesthe sex�c you get the idea. One of my favorite scenesbesides the sexwas the beast playing scrabble with Mike Horner. Beast spells out �gquastle�h and insists this is the correct spelling for �gcastle�h. When Hornerkeeping in mind that he is playing against a hideous and powerful beasttries to delicately point out that �gquastle�h is not a real wordthe beast delicately asks if he�fd mentioned that he has a rack in the cellar (or something to that effect). This movie has all of the earmarks of quality film-making; good setsbelievable costumesenjoyable sex-scenes with beautiful womensilly dialogue (in the silly moments) and serious talk in the more tender moments (and yesthis movie did have a couple of thoseas well)a solid storyand convincing acting.
None of this nonsense you see in modern porn exists during the era �gBeauty and the Beast�h was filmed. In �gthe good old days�h we weren�ft subjected to extreme close-ups of some beautiful young lady staring into the cameraand we didn�ft have super-sized tits with huge scars (defying gravity as they seem to do today). This is why I prefer the �golder�h movieslike Beauty and the Beast; the women were natural and �greal�hthere was a story along with the sexand the dialogue wasn�ft weak. I haven�ft seen this movie in a long timebut since coming across it (absolutely NO pun intended) on IMDbI think I�fll track it down and get it on DVD. Definitely worth it!!
